Small Business Saturday Takes Super REGGIE Campaign From American Express, Digitas and CP+B Takes Three Golds
Small Business Saturday, a unique cause marketing campaign created by American Express, was awarded the 2012 Super REGGIE; the highest honor in American integrated marketing.
Started in 1983, The REGGIE Awards was named for the "cash-register” -- to be a successful and winning campaign it needs to "make the register ring”! The Super REGGIE, awarded to the "best-in-class” from the gold category winners, is the most honored award in the industry, recognized as the crème de the crème in promotion marketing.
Today, there are 20 REGGIE Award categories, over the years, the categories have evolved to stay current with the rapid changes and advancements in our industry. The categories range from global execution, to national and local campaigns with different budget levels, down to specific discipline options. These discipline categories include: experiential, digital/social media, entertainment and sports, sponsorships and cause marketing, plus two categories for retail and shopper focused campaigns.
