Mission
Provide information and advice to marketers who plan, manage, and implement shopper insight marketing programs with retailers. We maintain a database of shopper marketing information on our website available to all members. We provide information and peer-to-peer assistance in organizing and managing the shopper marketing function. We will assure that we provide understanding of top retailer marketing strategies. Our emphasis is on the marketing and promotion planners and implementers at the supplier, manufacturer, retailer and agency.

The 2009 Shopper Marketing Summit
The Shopper Marketing Summit took Place on May 6 & 7 in Dallas, TX. Attendees spent two days hearing from experts in Shopper Marketing about its continuing evolution and dominance in the world of CPG marketing. Dr Brian Harris, known to many as the Father of Category Marketing, kicked off the Summit by mapping out his vision of the future of Shopper Marketing. Panels on Wal-Mart, C-Stores, Agency Insights and Brand Insights shared war stories and best practices on how to compete in their respective channels. A very welcome last minute addition to the conference was Al Meyers from Retail Forward talking about how retailers compete in Recessionary Times.
